SMS & Email Policy
This policy governs how Bloc (NextPhase Labs LLC) contacts you via SMS and email. By providing your contact information, you consent to communications as described below.
1. SMS Text Message Communications
1.1 Your Consent
By entering your phone number on our waitlist form or creating a Bloc account, you expressly consent to receive automated SMS/MMS messages from Bloc at the mobile number provided. These may include:
- Waitlist status updates and launch announcements
- Account verification codes and security alerts
- Trip notifications (request received, driver en route, trip complete)
- Subscription billing reminders and receipts
- Service updates and policy changes
- Promotional offers and marketing messages
- Referral program updates
1.2 Message Frequency
- Transactional messages: as needed per account event
- Promotional messages: up to 4–6 per month
Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
1.3 How to Opt Out of SMS
- Reply STOP to any Bloc text message
- Text STOP to our short code or long code number

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. Transactional messages (trip receipts, security alerts) will continue as they are necessary to operate the service.

1.5 Supported Carriers
Supported by most major U.S. carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others). Bloc is not liable for carrier delays.
2. Email Communications
2.1 Your Consent
By providing your email address to Bloc, you consent to receive:
- Waitlist confirmation and launch notification emails
- Account creation, verification, and security emails
- Trip summaries and receipts
- Subscription billing notifications
- Product updates and new feature announcements
- Promotional offers and newsletters
- Legal notices and policy updates
2.2 How to Opt Out of Marketing Emails
- Click "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email
- Email [email protected] with subject line "Unsubscribe"
- Manage preferences in your account settings
Opt-out requests are processed within 10 business days. Transactional and account-related emails will continue.
3. Required Consent Language for Forms
The following disclosure must appear at all data collection points:
"By signing up, you agree to receive SMS text messages and email communications from Bloc (NextPhase Labs LLC) regarding our launch, your account, and promotional offers. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any SMS to unsubscribe from text messages. Click Unsubscribe in any email to stop marketing emails. Transactional messages related to your account and trips will continue. View our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service."
4. CAN-SPAM Compliance
All marketing emails include: clear advertiser identification, accurate routing information, a valid physical mailing address, a conspicuous opt-out mechanism, and opt-out processing within 10 business days.
5. TCPA Compliance
Our SMS program includes: prior express written consent before marketing texts, clear STOP opt-out mechanism, sender identification in every message, and prompt honoring of opt-out requests.
6. Data Use
Phone numbers and email addresses are used solely by Bloc and its service providers (Twilio for SMS, Resend for email) to deliver communications. We do not sell or share contact information for third-party marketing.
